# OpenClaw integration

Use the shared [Figa agent skills](https://getfiga.com/help/developers/agent-skills) for expense questions, category and tag changes, and recurring invoice workflows. They describe the same Figa operations used by other agents.

## Install the skill folders

1.  Download and extract [figa-agent-skills.zip](https://getfiga.com/help/downloads/figa-agent-skills.zip).
2. Copy the individual skill folders from inside the bundle to `<workspace>/skills/` or `~/.openclaw/skills/`. Do not leave them nested inside the bundle wrapper.
3. Reload skills or start a new session. Review the instructions and optional scripts before enabling writes.

```
unzip figa-agent-skills.zip
mkdir -p ./skills
cp -R figa-agent-skills/figa-* ./skills/
```

## Choose the tool connection

If your OpenClaw setup supports remote MCP with OAuth, add `https://api.figa.cc/mcp` and follow the [MCP connection guide](https://getfiga.com/help/developers/mcp). Otherwise configure HTTP tools for `https://api.figa.cc/api/v1` with the `x-api-key` header. MCP uses OAuth, not the API key.

For the optional Python helpers, store `FIGA_API_BASE_URL=https://api.figa.cc` and `FIGA_API_KEY` in your runtime’s secrets. Resolve script paths relative to each installed skill. The helpers read basic resources or create an expense; other operations use the live MCP tools or documented REST endpoints.

## First run

Read context, list one month and check the workspace and currency. Then try an explicitly requested change and read it back. Configure the agent’s approval policy before unattended writes. Payment recording updates Figa’s record and does not transfer money.

For a repeatable daily task, follow [an invoice into its existing recurring bill](https://getfiga.com/help/developers/invoice-workflow), then use the saved data for summaries and comparisons.

See the [OpenClaw skills documentation](https://docs.openclaw.ai/skills) for current locations and loading behavior.
